To celebrate Children’s Day on June 1st and create a beneficial playground for children to learn, compete, and showcase their talents, Ha Tay Pharmaceutical – Hataphar is organizing the “DHT 2024 Chess Tournament” for young chess players of DHT.
1. Time: The tournament will officially begin at 7:30 AM on June 1, 2024.
2. Location: 3rd Floor Hall, Ha Tay Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company Production Facility.
3. Competition Format:
– The tournament will follow the Swiss system with 5 rounds.
– The latest competition rules issued by the Vietnam Chess Federation will apply.
– Each match will have a total of 10 minutes for official play. After the official playtime, each player will be given an additional 5 minutes to complete the match. (The player who runs out of time first or is checkmated will lose the match.)
4. Participants:
– Official participants: Elementary, middle, and high school students who are children of employees working at Ha Tay Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.
– Age groups:
- Group 1: Boys and girls in grades 1, 2, 3 (born in 2016-2018)
- Group 2: Boys and girls in grades 4, 5 (born in 2014-2015)
- Group 3: Boys and girls in grades 6, 7 (born in 2012-2013)
- Group 4: Boys and girls in grades 8, 9 (born in 2010-2011)
- Group 5: Boys and girls in grades 10, 11, 12 (born in 2007-2009)
5. Ranking & Awards:
– Individual rankings based on points and tiebreak scores.
– Awards:
- First Prize: 1,000,000 VND along with a Trophy, Medal, and Certificate of Achievement.
- Second Prize: 800,000 VND along with a Medal and Certificate of Achievement.
- Third Prize: 500,000 VND along with a Medal and Certificate of Achievement.
- Consolation Prize: 300,000 VND.
All participants will receive a support allowance of 100,000 VND.
6. Registration Process: The final deadline for registration is before May 15, 2024. Each department should compile and submit the registration form to the corresponding contact:
