On November 29–30, HATAPHAR proudly sponsored the Student Volunteer Team from the Hanoi University of Pharmacy for the “Warm Winter 2025” program in Kien Dai, a mountainous commune in Tuyen Quang Province.
Kien Dai is a highland area primarily inhabited by ethnic minority communities. Most residents rely on small-scale subsistence farming with limited access to modern technology, resulting in low productivity and significant economic hardships.
During the trip, a dedicated team of doctors and pharmacists organized medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for nearly 400 residents, focusing on the elderly and children. This initiative not only provided access to essential healthcare but also raised awareness about preventing and treating common illnesses. It perfectly embodies the spirit of “All for Community Health” that Ha Tay Pharmaceutical consistently pursues.
Recognizing that knowledge is the foundation of sustainable development, the program paid special attention to the younger generation of Kien Dai:
- “Bookcases for Children” Project: The team built and donated a library to the local school, providing hundreds of new books to open a colorful world of knowledge for the students.
- Scholarships and Gifts: Many valuable gifts and scholarships were awarded to underprivileged students who have shown extraordinary effort in their studies. These contributions serve as a powerful source of motivation, encouraging them to pursue their education and become valuable members of society.
Continuing the journey of kindness, the delegation visited and offered incense at the local War Memorial. The team spent time cleaning and beautifying the grounds to express profound gratitude to the heroes who sacrificed for the nation’s independence, and to educate the youth on the noble tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source.”
The team also visited and gave direct gifts to families facing extreme hardship. These sincere moments of sharing and words of encouragement provided warmth and resilience to the families as the cold winter approached.
The “Warm Winter 2025” journey has concluded, but the flame of love and compassion continues to spread. More than just a charitable activity, this partnership reflects Ha Tay Pharmaceutical’s commitment to social welfare—caring for community health and creating a better life for all.
