HATAPHAR Joins Hands to Share with Flood-Affected Communities

Upholding the Vietnamese traditions of “mutual support and assistance” and “The leaves protect tattered ones“, HATAPHAR has actively participated in supporting and assisting compatriots in areas affected by the recent natural disaster caused by Typhoon Yagi.

Typhoon Yagi, one of the strongest storms in the East Sea in the past 30 years, not only caused direct damage during its landfall but also led to many severe natural disasters in its aftermath. Many houses, once warm homes for families, have now collapsed, been completely damaged, or submerged in floodwaters. Communities have been cut off and isolated for days, leading to shortages of all essential supplies.

Immediately after the storm, HATAPHAR responded to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to join hands in supporting flood-affected people with many practical support activities, both in terms of material and spirit. Thanks to a wide network of medical representatives across the country, the medical representatives have become the extended arm of HATAPHAR in transporting essential goods and medicines from HATAPHAR to the deepest “flood-affected” areas such as Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, and suburb districts of Hanoi.

HATAPHAR hopes that these gifts can share and help people overcome temporary difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

As a company operating in the healthcare sector for many years, HATAPHAR has always focused on the company’s social responsibility. This humanistic spirit towards the community has been implemented throughout the company’s development process with many annual activities to support and assist the disadvantaged, the poor, and the vulnerable in society.

HATAPHAR would also like to express its sincere gratitude to the team of medical representatives and local officials for their support and companionship with HATAPHAR so that they can hand over gifts to those who need them most.
