Time:<\/strong> The tournament will officially begin at 7:30 AM on June 1, 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Location:<\/strong> 3rd Floor Hall, Ha Tay Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company Production Facility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Competition Format:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The tournament will follow the Swiss system with 5 rounds.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The latest competition rules issued by the Vietnam Chess Federation will apply.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Each match will have a total of 10 minutes for official play. After the official playtime, each player will be given an additional 5 minutes to complete the match. (The player who runs out of time first or is checkmated will lose the match.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Official participants: Elementary, middle, and high school students who are children of employees working at Ha Tay Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Age groups:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Group 1: Boys and girls in grades 1, 2, 3 (born in 2016-2018)<\/li>\n<li>Group 2: Boys and girls in grades 4, 5 (born in 2014-2015)<\/li>\n<li>Group 3: Boys and girls in grades 6, 7 (born in 2012-2013)<\/li>\n<li>Group 4: Boys and girls in grades 8, 9 (born in 2010-2011)<\/li>\n<li>Group 5: Boys and girls in grades 10, 11, 12 (born in 2007-2009)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5. Ranking &amp; Awards:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Individual rankings based on points and tiebreak scores.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Awards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Prize: 1,000,000 VND along with a Trophy, Medal, and Certificate of Achievement.<\/li>\n<li>Second Prize: 800,000 VND along with a Medal and Certificate of Achievement.<\/li>\n<li>Third Prize: 500,000 VND along with a Medal and Certificate of Achievement.<\/li>\n<li>Consolation Prize: 300,000 VND.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All participants will receive a support allowance of 100,000 VND.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Registration Process:<\/strong> The final deadline for registration is before May 15, 2024.
